Kyle's shirt and pants

Materials:
8ply yarn (used Marvel 4 Seasons acrylic), 2mm needles, tapestry needle, stitch holder and buttons 

Test square:
8sts & 10 rows stst = 2.5cm block 

Abbreviations: 
K - knit       p - purl      sts - stitches     stst - stocking stitch     inc - increase by knitting into the front and back of the same stitch    k2tog - knit 2 stitches together    yo - yarn over    sl1 - slip one stitch   p2tog - purl 2 stitches together 

To fit: 11 inch male fashion doll with modern standard body


Pants
Begin with one leg
Cast on 21sts
1x1 rib 1 row
Stst 54 rows
Cast off 2 sts at beginning of next two rows 
Cut yarn. Keep sts on a holder or spare needle and knit another leg the same but do not cut the yarn this time. 
Now knit over both legs (34sts)
Stst 9 rows
Change to belt colour and knit: 
k3, sl1, k4, sl1, k4, sl1, k6, sl1, k4, sl1, k4, sl1, k3
Next row: p3, sl1, p4, sl1, p4, sl1, p6, sl1, p4, sl1, p4, sl1, p3
Change to pants colour and k 1 row
Cast off in rib pattern
Pockets (make 2)
Cast on 6sts
Stst 6 rows
Row 7: k2tog, k2, k2tog
Row 8: p2tog x2
Row 9: k2tog
Cast off
Sew pockets to back of pants. Embroider details to mimic denim. Sew crotch, back and leg seams.

Shirt
Start at the top
Cast on 23sts
Stst 7 rows
Start with a k row and stst 4 rows
Next row: (k1, inc 1) repeat until last st, k1 (34sts)
Stst 3 rows
Now begin raglan shaping
Row 1: k5, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k7
Row 2: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 3: k6, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k12, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k8
Row 4: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 5: k7, inc x2, k6, inc x2, k14, inc x2, k6, inc x2, k9
Row 6: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 7: k8, inc x2, k8, inc x2, k16, inc x2, k8, inc x2, k10
Row 8: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 9: k9, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k18, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k11
Row 10: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 11: start to divide, k11, keep these sts on a holder, k14 for sleeve and continue on these 14sts
Stst 30 rows (6 rows for short sleeves)
1x1 rib 1 row
Cast off in rib
Rejoin yarn to next 22sts for back and
Stst 27 rows
1x1 rib 1 row
Cast off in rib pattern
Rejoin yarn to next 14sts for sleeve and
Stst 31 rows (7 rows for short sleeves)
1x1 rib 1 row
Cast off in rib pattern
Rejoin yarn to last sts for front and also transfer the stst from holder to a seperate needle, k12, place the part from holder in front and knit together 1 st from both needles x2, k10
Next row: p9, k2, p11
Next row: k
Repeat these two rows another nine times
Next row: p2, k2, p11
Now divide and finish each part separate:
K11, turn 
Next row: cast on 2sts, k2, p11
Next row: k
Next row: k2, p11
Next row: k
1x1 rib 1 row
Cast off in rib pattern
Rejoin yarn and k 1 row
Next row: p9, k2
Next row: k
Next row: p9, k2
Next row: k
1x1 rib 1 row
Cast off in rib pattern
Sew arm seams. Sew buttons to mimic a buttoned shirt.
