Note: This chair can be made in various sizes. Change your needle size to make it bigger or smaller. Also the amount of stuffing you add will determine the size.
Materials:
8ply yarn (used Panda Magnum in pink, 4 Seasons Marvel in off-white) 3.75mm for big chair, 2.75mm for smaller. Tapestry needle to sew seams. Stuffing.
Abbreviations:
k - knit p - purl stst - stocking stitch sts - stitches
Size:
This is what mine measure, depending on needles, tension and stuffing it will be different. These are just an estimate.
Over-sized chair: Width 16cm; Depth 13cm; Height 11cm; seat 9x10 cm
Smaller chair: Width 13cm; Depth 10cm; Height 9cm; seat 7x7 cm
Arm rests (make 2)
Cast on 20sts
Stst 8 rows
Garter st 2 rows
Next row: Cast on 8sts, k to end
Stst 5 rows
Next row: cast off 8sts, k to end
Next row: k
Stst 8 rows
Garter st 2 rows
Stst 6 rows
Cast off
Sew all seam except the back. Stuff and keep aside.
Back
Cast on 32sts
Stst 40 rows
Cast off
Sew the arms 0.5cm from edge of back. Fold back and sew side seams. Stuff
Seat
Knitted in separate pieces and then assembled
Top and bottom
Cast on 32 sts
Stst 30 rows
Cast off
Front and back
Cast on 32sts
Garter st 2 rows
Stst 8 rows

Left and right side
Cast on 24sts

Sew top to the 4 sides.
Then sew the bottom to the sides, leaving an opening to stuff. Sew the opening close.
Sew the armrest and back piece to the seat.
