Materials:

8ply yarn (used Sean sheep acrylic), 2mm needles, stitch holder and a tapestry needle for sewing seams

Abbreviations: 

k - knit     p - purl      sts - stitches       stst - stocking stitch        k2tog - (decrease) knit 2 stitches together inc - increase by knitting into front and back of the same stitch    

To fit: 11 inch fashion doll with the curvy body type

Test square: (please knit to make sure the clothes will fit) 

2.5 x 2.5 cm = 

Cast on 8 sts and stst 10 rows

(Really super fast to test. )

Cast on 40sts

1x1 rib 20 rows

Row 21: rib8, k2tog, k20, k2tog, rib 8

Row 22: rib8, p22, rib8

Row 23: rib8, k2tog, k18, k2tog, rib8

Row 24: rib8, p20, rib8

Row 25: rib8, k2tog, k16, k2tog, rib8

Row 26: rib8, p18, rib8

Row 27: rib8, k2tog, k14, k2tog, rib8

Row 28: rib8, p16, rib8

Row 29: rib8, k2tog, k12, k2tog, rib8

Row 30: rib8, p14, rib8

Row 31: rib8, k2tog, k10, k2tog, rib8

Row 32: rib8, p12, rib8

Row 33: rib8, k2tog, k8, k2tog, rib8

Row 34: rib8, p10, rib8

Row 35: rib8, k10, rib8

Row 36: rib8, p10, rib8

Row 37: cast off 8sts, k10, rib8

Row 38: cast off 8sts, k10

Divide and continue on the first 5 sts only:

Row 1: k

Row 2: k

Row 3: k4, inc (6sts)

Row 4: k

Row 5: k5, inc (7sts)

Row 6: k

Row 7: k6, inc (8sts)

Row 8: k

Row 9: k7, inc (9sts)

Row 10: k

Row 11: k8, inc (10sts)

Garter st 5 rows

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to other 5 sts and knit:

Row 1: k

Row 2: k

Row 3: inc, k4 (6sts)

Row 4: k

Row 5: inc, k5 (7sts)

Row 6: k

Row 7: inc, k6 (8sts)

Row 8: k

Row 9: inc, k7 (9sts)

Row 10: k

Row 11: inc, k8 (10sts)

Garter st 5 rows

Cast off

Sew back seam. Sew neck seam. Fold collar over and secure. 

Best dressed from top of doll.
