Materials:
8ply yarn (used Sean Sheep Prints, Marvel 4 Seasons and Lincraft 8ply acrylic), 2mm needles, tapestry needle, stitch holder
Test square:
8sts & 10 rows stst = 2.5cm block
Abbreviations:
K - knit p - purl sts - stitches stst - stocking stitch inc - increase by knitting into the front and back of the same stitch k2tog - knit 2 stitches together
To fit: 23.5cm fashion doll
Pants
Used Sean Sheep Prints 8ply acrylic
Begin with one leg
Cast on 13sts
1x1 rib 1 row
Stst 24 rows
Row 25: inc 1st at beginning and end of row (15sts)
Row 26 - 30: stst
Row 31: inc 1st at beginning and end of row
Row 32 - 40: stst
Tip: stop here and measure against your doll if leg is long enough (ankle to inner thigh)
Cast off 2 sts at beginning of next two rows (13sts)
Cut yarn. Keep sts on a holder or spare needle and knit another leg the same but do not cut the yarn this time.
Now knit over both legs (26sts)
Stst 7 rows
1x1 rib 2 rows
Cast off in rib pattern
Sew crotch, back and leg seams.
Sports bra
Used (White) - Lincraft Double knit 8ply acrylic
Cast on 26sts
1x1 rib 2 rows
Stst 4 rows
Next row: k5, cast off 3sts, k10, cast off 3sts, k5
Next row: p5, cast on 10sts, p10, cast on 10sts, p5
Cast off
Sew seams.
Jumper
Used (pink) Marvel 4 Seasons acrylic
Knit side to side
Cast on 14sts
1x1 rib 2 rows
Garter st 36 rows
Cast on 10sts at beginning of next two rows (34sts)
Garter st 6 rows
Now divide and knit front and back separately
K17, keep other 17sts on a holder
Garter st 20 rows
Place these sts now on a holder
Rejoin yarn to the unworked 17sts
Garter st 21 rows
Now knit over both sets of sts (34sts)
Garter st 5 rows
Cast off 10sts at beginning of next two rows (14sts)
Garter st 36 rows
1x1 rib 1 row
Cast off in rib pattern
Fold and sew arm and side seams
