Going to a tea party

Materials:

8ply yarn (used Sean Sheep Acrylic), 2mm needles, ribbon, button or buckle and velcro for belt and a snap.

Abbreviations:

K - knit p - purl stst - stocking stitch sl1 - slip one k2tog - knit two together inc 1 - increase 1 by knitting into front and back of stitch sts - stitches

Tension test square:

8ply and 2mm

8 sts and 10 rows stst = 2.5 x 2.5 cm

Skirt

Cast on 30sts

Row 1: 1x1 rib

Row 2: k

Row 3: k2, p26, k2

Repeat rows 2 & 3 another 4 times. (It forms a slit)

Stst 26

2x2 rib for 4 rows

Cast off in rib pattern.

Sew seam until slit. (Only upper plain rows)

Top

Knit from side to side with short rows

Cast on 20sts

Row 1: k

Row 2: k

Row 3: k

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Row 4: k

Repeat rows 1 - 4 twice more

Row 13: inc1, k to end

Row 14: k

Row 15: inc1, k to end

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Row 16: k

Row 17: k2tog, k to end

Row 18: k

Row 19: k2tog, k to end

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Flower (opsional)

Cast on 30sts

Row 1: (k1, cast off 3sts) across

Thread yarn through sts, secure, sew the edges together to complete the flower. Sew onto hat

Bag

Cast on 10sts

Stst 20 rows

Row 21: k1, k2tog, k to last 3sts, k2tog, k1

Row 22: p

Repeat rows 21 & 22 until 4 sts on needle.

Cast off

Fold the 20 rows in half and sew the sides. Add a snap to the flap to close.

I made a belt with ribbon and sewed velcro to ends to fasten at back. Also sewed ribbon to flap of bag. These are optional.

Baby onsie

This pattern can be knitted with 4ply yarn and 2mm needles to fit the Skipper babysitter babies. 😊

Back to these 2 cuties

Materials:

3ply yarn, 1.5mm needles and a button

Abbreviations:

K - knit p - purl stst - stocking stitch sts - stitches inc - increase (knit into front and back of stitch) k2tog - knit two together to decrease yo - yarn over

Test square:

1.5mm and 3ply

10sts and 12 rows = 2.5 x 2.5cm

Begin at the top

Cast on 14sts

Row 1: 1×1 rib

Row 2: k1, inc x 4, k2, inc x4, k3

Row 3: k2, p20

Row 4: k2, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k1, k2tog, yo, k1 (buttonhole)

Row 5: k2, p28

Row 6: k3, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k6, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k5

Row 7: k2, p36

Knit as follow for first sleeve

K5( back) k8 (sleeve) turn,

Next row: p8

Stst 4 rows on these 8sts only

Cast off in rib pattern.

Rejoin yarn to front and k10sts, k8 for second sleeve, turn

Next row: p8

Stst 4 rows on these 8sts only

Cast off in rib

Rejoin yarn to last 7 back sts and k to end

Sew button opposite the buttonhole for closure.
