Materials:

8ply yarn (used Sean Sheep Acrylic), 2mm needles, ribbon, button or buckle and velcro for belt and a snap. 

Abbreviations: 

K - knit    p - purl    stst - stocking stitch    sl1 - slip one   k2tog - knit two together    inc 1 - increase 1 by knitting into front and back of stitch    sts - stitches  

Tension test square: 

8ply and 2mm 

8 sts and 10 rows stst = 2.5 x 2.5 cm

Skirt

Cast on 30sts

Row 1: 1x1 rib

Row 2: k

Row 3: k2, p26, k2

Repeat rows 2 & 3 another 4 times. (It forms a slit)

Stst 26

2x2 rib for 4 rows

Cast off in rib pattern. 

Sew seam until slit. (Only upper plain rows)

Top

Knit from side to side with short rows

Cast on 20sts

Row 1: k

Row 2: k

Row 3: k

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Row 4: k

Repeat rows 1 - 4 twice more 

Row 13: inc1, k to end

Row 14: k

Row 15: inc1, k to end

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Row 16: k

Row 17: k2tog, k to end

Row 18: k

Row 19: k2tog, k to end

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Row 20: k

Row 21: inc1, k to end

Row 22: k

Row 23: inc1, k to end

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Row 24: k

Row 25: k2tog, k to end

Row 26: k

Row 27: k2tog, k to end

Short row: k7, turn

Short row: sl1, k6

Row 28: k

Row 32: k

Repeat rows 29 - 32 twice more

Cast off 

Sew seam

Hat

Cast on 30sts

1x1 rib 2 rows

Garter st 4 rows

Next row: (k1, inc1) across

Garter st 3 rows

Next row: (k2, inc1) across

Garter st 3 rows

Cast off

Sew seam

Flower (opsional)

Cast on 30sts

Row 1: (k1, cast off 3sts) across

Thread yarn through sts, secure, sew the edges together to complete the flower. Sew onto hat

Bag

Cast on 10sts

Stst 20 rows

Row 21: k1, k2tog, k to last 3sts, k2tog, k1

Row 22: p

Repeat rows 21 & 22 until 4 sts on needle.

Cast off

Fold the 20 rows in half and sew the sides. Add a snap to the flap to close.

I made a belt with ribbon and sewed velcro to ends to fasten at back. Also sewed ribbon to flap of bag. These are optional.
