PDF pattern

Materials:

8ply yarn ( Heirloom Color Works, Bendigo Woollen Mills, Marvel 4 Seasons), 2mm needles, tapestry needle, stitch holder

Test square:

8sts & 10 rows stst = 2.5cm block 

Abbreviations: 

K - knit p - purl sts - stitches stst - stocking stitch inc1 - knit into front and back of the same stitch k2tog - knit two stitches together  

To fit: 29cm fashion doll with modern standard body 

Dress

Used Bendigo Woollen Mills 8ply wool in leaf green with Heirloom Color Works 8ply acrylic in purple

Cast on 45sts

Garter st 2 rows

Row 3: k

Row 4: (p3, k1) across, end with p1

Row 5: k

Row 6: p1, (k1, p3) across

Repeat rows 3 - 6 another six times

Next row: (k1, k2tog) across (30sts)

Next row: p

Change color to purple

Garter st 10 rows

Change color back to green

Garter st 1 row

1x1 rib 8 rows

Cast off in rib pattern

Sew back seam

Boots (make 2)

Used Marvel 4 Seasons 8ply acrylic in light brown

Cast on 12 sts

Row 1: k

Rows 2 - 17: stst, starting with a k row

Row 18: k2, k2tog, k4, k2tog, k2

Row 19: p

Stst 6 rows

Foot

Row 1: k5, cast on 4sts (9sts) keep other 5sts on holder  

Stst 3 rows

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to 5sts on holder, cast on 4sts, k9

Stst 3 rows

Cast off

Sew back seam and foot

Begin at the neck

Cast on 33sts

Row 4: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Row 5: k7, inc1, k1, inc1, k3, inc1, k1, inc1, k9, inc1, k1, inc1, k3, inc1, k1, inc1, k7

Row 6: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Row 7: k8, inc1, k1, inc1, k5, inc1, k1, inc1, k11, inc1, k1, inc1, k5, inc1, k1, inc1, k8

Row 8: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Cast off in rib pattern

Rejoin yarn to 17sts on holder

Stst 20 rows

Repeat for other sleeve

Sew sleeve seams
