Materials:
8ply yarn (used Sean sheep acrylic) and 2mm needles, buttons for decoration, needle and thread and a tapestry needle for sewing seams
Abbreviations:
k - knit p - purl sts - stitches stst - stocking stitch k2tog - (decrease) knit 2 stitches together yo - yarn over inc - increase by knitting into front and back of the same stitch
To fit: 11 inch fashion doll with the curvy body type
Test square: (please knit to make sure the clothes will fit)
2.5 x 2.5 cm =
Cast on 8 sts and stst 10 rows
(Really super fast to test. )
Bottoms
Cast on 54sts
Row 1: k2, k2tog, k20, k2tog, k2, k2tog, k20, k2tog, k2
Row 2: p
Row 3: k2, k2tog, k18, k2tog, k2, k2tog, k18, k2tog, k2
Row 4: p
Row 5: k2, k2tog, k16, k2tog, k2, k2tog, k16, k2tog, k2
Row 6: p
Row 7: k2, k2tog, k14, k2tog, k2, k2tog, k14, k2tog, k2
Row 8: p
Row 9: k16, k2tog, k2, k2tog, k16
Row 10: p
1x1 rib 2 rows
Cast off
Sew back seam and crotch. Add button decoration to front.
Top
Knitted from the top down.
Cast on 48sts
Row 1: k6, cast off 12sts, k12, cast off 12sts, k6
Row 2: p6, cast on 3sts, p12, cast on 3sts, p6
Stst 5 rows (change colour on last row if you want 2 colours)
Next row: k
Now divide and knit each side separately:
Row 1: (k1, inc1) x7, k1, keep the other 15 sts on a seperate needle or stitch holder
Row 2: p (22sts)
Row 3: k1, (yo, k2tog) x10, k1
Row 4: p
Row 5: (k2tog, yo) x10, k2
Row 6: p
Repeat rows 3 - 6 another five times
Garter stitch (knit only) 2 rows
Cast off
Rejoin yarn to other 15sts
Row 1: (k1, inc1)x7, k1 (22sts)
Row 2: p
Row 3: k1, (k2tog, yo) x10, k1
Row 4: p
Row 5: k2, (yo, k2tog) x10
Row 6: p
Repeat rows 3 - 6 another five times
Garter stitch 2 rows
Cast off
Sew back seam. Add button for decoration
Slippers (make 2)
Cast on 2 sts
Row 1: inc x2 (4sts)
Rows 2 - 6: stst
Row 7: cast on 4sts, k8
Row 8: p
Row 9: cast off 4sts, k4
Row 10: p
Row 11: k2tog x2 (2sts)
Cast off
Darn away yarn and sew strap to side.
