Finishing Touches

 Day 12 of 12 days of Christmas for Curvy Dolls 

4 patterns today to finish of a closet... let's go

Materials:
8ply yarn (used Sean sheep acrylic) & fluffy yarn,  2mm & 3.25mm needles, buttons for decoration, stitch holder, needle and thread and a tapestry needle for sewing seams.

Abbreviations: 
k - knit      p - purl      sts - stitches     stst - stocking stitch       k2tog - (decrease) knit 2 stitches together yo - yarn over      inc - increase by knitting into front and back of the same stitch    

To fit: 11 inch fashion doll with the curvy body type

Test square: (please knit to make sure the clothes will fit) 
2.5 x 2.5 cm = 
Cast on 8 sts and stst 10 rows
(Really super fast to test. )

12.1 Undies

2mm needles and 8ply yarn
Bra
Cast on 30sts
1x1 rib 2 rows
Stst 4 rows
Row 7: k6, cast off 3 sts, k12, cast off 3 sts, k6
Row 8: p6, cast on 12sts, p12, cast on 12sts, p6
Cast off
Sew back seam.

Panty
Cast on 20sts
1x1 rib 2 rows
Row 3: k2tog, k to last 2sts, k2tog
Row 4: p
Repeat rows 3 & 4 until 6 sts remain on needle.
Stst 4 rows
Next row: inc 1 st at beginning and end of row
Next row: p
Repeat these 2 rows until you have 20 sts on the needle.
1x1 rib 1 row
Cast off in rib pattern.
Sew side seams

12.2 Small bag 
2mm needles and 8ply yarn

Row 1: k
Row 2: inc 1 in every st (16sts)
Stst 15 rows
Next row: k2tog across row (8sts)
Next row: k
Cast off. 
Make an i-cord of 3cm for handle
Sew side seams and attach handle

12.3 "Feather" boa
3.25mm needles and fluffy yarn

Garter st 2 rows
Cast off
Darn away yarns

Part 1
Cast on 12 sts
Stst 12 rows
Next row: Cast off 10sts, k2 (2sts)
Stst 13 rows for handle
Next row: cast on 10sts, k12
Stst 11 rows
Cast off
Part 2
Cast on 40sts
Garter st 3 rows
Cast off

Sew side seam of part 1 only, do not sew past handle.
Sew part 2 to part one's open sides to create a handle in the middle.
Sew the bottom. 
Put part 2 handle through part 1 handle.
