Materials:
8ply yarn (used Sean sheep acrylic) and 2mm needles, and a tapestry needle for sewing seams
Abbreviations:
k - knit p - purl sts - stitches stst - stocking stitch k2tog - (decrease) knit 2 stitches together inc - increase by knitting into front and back of the same stitch
To fit: 11 inch fashion doll with the curvy body type
Test square: (please knit to make sure the clothes will fit)
2.5 x 2.5 cm =
Cast on 8 sts and stst 10 rows
(Really super fast to test. )
NOTE: the boa pattern will be posted on day 12 with other accessories
Dress
This dress is knitted from side to side and in Garter stitch throughout
Cast on 53 sts
Row 1: Inc 1, k to end
Row 2: k
Repeat rows 1 and 2 another nine times
Row 21: inc 1, k to end
Row 22: cast off 34sts, k to end
Row 23: inc 1, k to end
Row 24: cast on 34sts, k to end
Row 25: k2tog, k to end
Row 26: k
Row 27: k2tog, k to end
Row 28: k
Row 29; k2tog x2, k to end
Row 30: k
Row 31: inc x2, k to end
Row 32: k
Row 33: inc1, k to end
Row 34: k
Row 35: inc1, k to end
Row 36: k
Row 37: k2tog, k to end
Row 38: k
Row 39: k2tog, k to end
Repeat rows 38 & 39 until there is 53 sts left on needle.
Cast off
Sew back seam.
