8ply yarn (used Sean sheep acrylic) and 2mm needles, buttons for decoration, needle and thread and a tapestry needle for sewing seams
Abbreviations:
k - knit p - purl sts - stitches stst - stocking stitch k2tog - (decrease) knit 2 stitches together yo - yarn over inc - increase by knitting into front and back of the same stitch
To fit: 11 inch male fashion doll with the modern standard body type
Test square: (please knit to make sure the clothes will fit)

Row 3: k5, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k7
Row 4: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 5: k1, yo, k2tog, k3, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k12, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k8
Row 6: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 7: k7, inc x2, k6, inc x2, k14, inc x2, k6, inc x2, k9
Row 8: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 9: k1, yo, k2tog, k5, inc x2, k8, inc x2, k16, inc x2, k8, inc x2, k10
Row 10: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 11: k9, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k18, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k11
Row 12: k2, p to last 2sts, k2
Row 13: start to divide, k1, yo, k2tog, k8, keep these sts on a holder, k14 for sleeve and continue on these 14sts

Rejoin yarn to next 22sts for back and

Rejoin yarn to next 14sts for sleeve and

Rejoin yarn to the last sts for front and also transfer the sts from the holder to a needle, k12, place the side with buttonholes in front and knit together 1st from both needles x2, k10

Cast off
Sew seams. Sew buttons to front.
Pants
Used DK Merino First across wool any 8ply yarn will work.
Cast on 21 sts
Garter st 2 rows
Stst 54 rows
Cast off 2 sts at beginning of next two rows
Cut yarn and knit another leg the same but don't cut the wool
Now knit over both legs
Stst 11 rows
1x1 rib 2 rows
Cast off
Sew crotch, leg and back seams
