Kyle's shirt and cargo pants

Materials:

8ply yarn (used Marvel 4 Seasons acrylic) and 2mm needles, buttons for decoration, needle and thread and a tapestry needle for sewing seams

Abbreviations:

k - knit p - purl sts - stitches stst - stocking stitch k2tog - (decrease) knit 2 stitches together yo - yarn over inc - increase by knitting into front and back of the same stitch

To fit: 11 inch male fashion doll with the modern standard body type

Test square: (please knit to make sure the clothes will fit)

Cast on 8 sts and stst 10 rows

(Really super fast to test. )

Shirt

Begin at the neck and cast on 34sts

Garter st 2 rows

Row 3: k5, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k2, inc x2, k7

Row 4: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Row 5: k1, yo, k2tog, k3, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k12, inc x2, k4, inc x2, k8

Row 6: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Row 7: k7, inc x2, k6, inc x2, k14, inc x2, k6, inc x2, k9

Row 8: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Row 9: k1, yo, k2tog, k5, inc x2, k8, inc x2, k16, inc x2, k8, inc x2, k10

Row 10: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Row 11: k9, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k18, inc x2, k10, inc x2, k11

Row 12: k2, p to last 2sts, k2

Row 13: start to divide, k1, yo, k2tog, k8, keep these sts on a holder, k14 for sleeve and continue on these 14sts

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to next 22 sts for back and stst 26 rows

Garter st 2 rows

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to next 14 sts for sleeve and stst 6 rows

Garter st 2 rows

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to last sts for feont and also transfer the sts from the holder to a seperate needle, k12, place the side with buttonholes in front and knit together1st from both needles x2, k10

Next row: p9, k2, p11

Next row: k

Garter st 2 rows

Cast off

Sew seams. Sew buttons or beads to shirt if that is your preference. I didn't and it still looked good.

Cargo pants

Used Marvel 4 Seasons acrylic yarn and 2mm needles

Begin with one leg

Cast on 21 sts

Garter st 2 rows

Stst 54 rows

Cast off 2 sts at beginning of next two rows

Cut yarn and knit another let the same but do not cut yarn this time

Now knit over both legs

Stst 11 rows

1x1 rib 2 rows

Cast off in rib pattern

Pockets (make 2)

Cast on 8sts

Stst 10 rows

Cast off

Flap (make 2)

Cast on 8sts

Stst 4 rows

Cast off

Sew pockets and flaps to pants leg. Sew crotch, back and leg seams.

Emily's Flower dress with shawl

Abbreviations:

Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

The Quiet Observer

Emily, oblivious to Kyle's internal turmoil, wasn't entirely unaware of him. She noticed him, of course. The quiet man in the corner, always with his laptop, his gaze sometimes meeting hers across the room. He had kind eyes and a hesitant smile that made her stomach flip. She was just as shy, just as afraid of rejection.

She'd seen him fumble with his laptop, spill a little of his latte once, and silently curse under his breath when the barista called out the wrong name. These small, human moments endeared him to her. He wasn't some perfect, unattainable figure. He was just a regular guy, like her.

She often found herself glancing up from her book, subtly checking if he was there. It had become a part of her routine, a comforting presence in the bustling coffee shop. She even picked out a specific book she wanted to read, hoping it might spark a conversation. A worn copy of “Pride and Prejudice,” a subtle offering to the universe, a quiet invitation.

She knew he was a writer, or at least, she assumed he was. She’d caught glimpses of his screen, lines of text scrolling by, the occasional frantic typing. She wondered what he was writing, what stories he was weaving. She imagined him as a tortured artist, pouring his soul onto the page. The romantic in her couldn't help but indulge in these fantasies.
