I used an older photo for this one. The size is very clear.
Materials:
DK yarn of your choice 3.25mm needles
Abbreviations:
k - knit p - purl stst - stocking stitch inc - increase (I used knit into front and back of the same stitch) dec - decrease (I used the knit 2 stitches together method) st - stitch
Bottom
Cast on 6sts
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Inc at beginning and end of row
Repeat these two rows until 12 sts.
Knit 30 rows
Next row: Dec 1st at beginning and end of row
Next row: k
Rep these last two rows until 6 sts left
Cast off
Sides
Cast on 54 sts
Knit moss st for 6 rows.
Knit 4 rows
Cast off
Sew the side to the bottom.
Handles (make 2)
Chain 18 sts or Cast on 18 sts and cast off.
Hood
Cast on 22 sts
Knit 4 rows
Start with a p row and stst 7 rows
Next row: (K1, k2tog), rep across row (15sts)
Next row: p
Next row: (k1, k2tog), rep acorss row (10sts)
Next row: p
Next row: (k1, k2tog), rep across row (7sts)
Next row: p
Next row: (k1, k2tog), rep across row (5sts)
Thread yarn through rem sts and sew on hood.
