3ply yarn and 2mm needles a needle and thread

And lots of patience

Abbreviations:

k - knit p – purl stst - stocking stitch k2tog – knit two together inc – increase

Diaper

Cast on 8sts

Stst 2 rows

Row 3: k2tog, k to last 2sts, k2tog

Row 4: p

Row 5: k2tog, k to last 2sts, k2tog

Row 6: p

Row 7: k

Row 8: p

Row 9: inc at beginning and end of row

Row 10: p

Row 11: inc at beginning and end of row

Row 12: p

Row 13: k

Cast off.

Sew small sts to front sides for pins. Sew side seam

Beanie

Cast on 14sts

Row 1: k

Row 2: k

Row 3: p

Row 4: (k2, k2tog) across, end with k2

Row 5: p

Row 6: (k1, k2tog) across

Row 7: p

Row 8: (k2, k2tog) across

Tread yarn through sts, secure and sew seam.
