8ply yarn (used Sean sheep acrylic) 2mm needles hook & eye fastener or button

This item is designed to fit a Curvy body type barbie doll

Cast on 53sts

Row 1: *k1, p3* rep *-* across, end with k1

Row 2: p

Row 3: same as row 1

Row 4: p

Row 5: ssk, *yo, k1, yo, sl2, k1, psso(both)* rep *-* to last 3sts, yo, k1, yo, k2tog

Row 6: p

Row 7: p2, *k1, p3* rep *-* end with p2

Row 8: p

Row 9: same as row 7

Row 10: p

Row 11: *k1, yo, sl2, k1, psso(both), yo* rep *-* to last st, k1

Row 12: p

Repeat rows 1 - 4

Change colour here if you want. 

Stst 12 rows

Row 29: k11, k2tog x2, k23, k2tog x2, k11 (49sts)

Row 30: p

Row 31: k10, k2tog x2, k21, k2tog x2, k10 (45sts)

Row 32: p

Row 33: k9, k2tog x2, k19, k2tog x2, k9 (41sts)

Row 34: p

Row 35: k8, k2tog x2, k17, k2tog x2, k8 (37sts)

Row 36: p

Row 37: k7, k2tog x2, k15, k2tog x2, k7 (33sts)

Starting with a p row, stst 11 rows

Next row: k6, cast off 3sts, k7, cast off 1, k7, cast off 3sts, k6

Now knit the pieces seperatly 

Back:

Stst 8 rows

Next row: cast off 3sts, p to end (3sts)

Stst 4 rows

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to front and p7

Next row: k1, k2tog, k4

Stst 3 rows

Next row: k1, k2tog, k3

Next row: p

Next row: k1, k2tog, k2

Next row: p

Next row: k1, k2tog, k1

Stst 3 rows

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to other front and p7

Next row: k4, k2tog, k1

Stst 3 rows

Next row: k3, k2tog, k1

Next row: p

Next row: k2, k2tog, k1

Rejoin yarn to last back piece

Sew shoulder seams

Sew back but leave top 4cm open. 

Sew a button and loop to top back or a hook and eye fastener.
