Materials:

8ply yarn (used Sean sheep acrylic) 2mm needles

Test square:

8sts and 10 rows = 2.5x2.5cm knitted stst

Cast on 46sts

Garter st 2 rows

Begin pattern:

Row 1: k2, *k2tog, k1, yo, k1, ssk, k2* rep *-* end with k4

Row 2: p

Row 3: k1, k2tog, k1, yo, *k1, yo, k1, ssk, k2tog, k1, yo* rep *-* end with k2

Row 4: p

Row 5: k3, yo, *k3, yo, k1, ssk, k1, yo* rep *-* end with k3

Row 6: p

Row 7: k5, *k2tog, k1, yo, k1, ssk, k2* rep *-* end with k2

Row 8: p

Row 9: k4, *k2tog, k1, (yo, k1) x2, ssk* rep *-* end with k3

Row 10: p

Row 11: k3, k2tog, *k1, yo, k3, yo, k1, k2tog* rep *-* end with k2

Row 12: p

Repeat rows 1 – 12 again

Next row: (k1, k2tog) x15, k1 (31 sts)

Next row: p

Next row: (k3, p3) across, p2tog at end (30sts)

3x3 rib 24 rows

Cast off

Sew seam and decorate
